By the time you read this, we will be out-bound traffic. What would we have you pray for us? Glad you asked.
1) For our preparations as a team
2) For “divine appointments” with students who wish to have a closer look at this Jesus fellow
3) That we might genuinely serve the long-term missionaries there (currently 168 in Chiba City)
4) For wisdom in sharing the Gospel with the students with whom we have the privilege of meeting
5) For loving, genuine relationships to be built between the students we reach and the long-term missionaries
6) Above all, we ask for your persistent prayer (Luke 11:5-13, 18:1-7)

Hoorah for the Japan team! We’re eager for reports and photos. You’ve got some jealous folks from last year’s team wishing we were with you. May the Super Chiba Hotel be everything it has been in the past, if not more. Give Yuko, Justin, Nobu, and Slim hugs, and know that we’re praying for you.

Ah yes Slim, almost forgot that was Bobo’s nickname for Kenichi. I think it’s cool that we can be jealous in a good way about serving the Japanese. All of this studying for the bar is making me wish I could sit in a nice steamy sento.
