Good morning

Howdy Y`all!  These keyboards are really funky, so sorry for the typos.  Anyway, just wanted to let you all know that it:s really sunny here today, which is a nice change in weather.  Today we have our second TX night.  Please pray that today as we pass out fliers advertising the event on the college campus, that hearts are softened and that we are given the right things to say to a people who are so closed.  We love you, and thank you for the comments – we anxiously await more! :)

Love,

Amy

  1. So happy to hear that the entire team arrived safely! I am praying for y’all daily as you serve our great Lord in Japan.

    Matthew 28:19, 20
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

  2. Hey guys. I cant figure out how to start a new thread, so im adding to this one. This has been a wonderful experience so far. We met a young man tonight who one of the japanese missionaries has been meeting with, and it appears that he is slowly begining have his resistance to the gospel worn down. However he seems to be struggleing with some issues in his life at present. Please pray that he would come to know the Lord. He is a almost perfect example of so many here in japan for whom it takes time to come to know Christ. The encoragement is that God is indeed at work, and goes to any length to call his people to himself. Thanks for Praying, we love you!

  3. Good morning to each of you – this is so wonderful that we can get updates! We are just praising the Lord for the opportunities you have. Hope your Tuesday went well. Praying for guidance in all you do and say. May our Lord bless you and keep you safe. Love you, Betty – Terry’s Mom

  4. It is so nice to read about your mission trip. People can be stubborn but we know we must stay in the Word and trust God’s timing. Land O’ Lakes is praying for y’ all and your strength in the Lord. We look forward to reading more…when you have time. Stay safe.

    Love, Patty – Amy’s mom

Jam 1:12 Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.

  5. Hi Lulu and the rest of you guys that we know only by name and your team picture!

It’s been so fun reading about your adventures and opportunities to minister. I guess as I’m writing this it’s dawning on Wednesday morning where you are. Hope you’re getting enough sleep, and we’re trusting our kind Father to keep you all well and strong.

It’s a blessing to see how God has gifted each one of you, and by His grace has given you humble hearts to be used however and wherever. 2Cor 4:7 “But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us.”

We know that God is always at work, but sometimes we’re not so aware of it – it must be awesome to actually SEE him working there, and humbling to realize He is using you all.

    Have a great Wednesday!

    With joy,
    Cindy’s Mom
