this morning we’ll attend a international economics class (surely, our forte) led by a professor who’s a Christian at Chiba University.Terry’s been called upon to offer a brief perspective on burgeoning and collapsing industries in America with a view to making mention of how the Gospel might shape business practices. Not exactly light conversation, is it? If you wouldn:t mind praying for him, i am sure we would all appreciate it. Terry has proved himself the wonderful mix of courage, consideration, and comic relief here in Japan. We’re all looking forward to hearing what he has to say and perhaps to engage with students too.
Micah 7:7 has sort of become our theme verse for this trip so far.we ask you pray in that direction for us.
this is a sweet team following our majestic Lord. Thanks for praying. Please continue.

p.s. Mr Lott’s enthusiasm in being here I can only liken to a puppy in a Petco: he’s drinking it all in with great curiosity and vigor!

Did anyone else have a problem receiving Patrick’s entry about attending the international economics class? The first few lines were readable on my computer, and then the words were a collection of little squares, all spaced out far apart. Dave Lott’s comment the other day came across the same way toward the middle of it, and yet on my computer at work, the words were readable, just with giant spaces between the letters.
Hopefully I’ll be able to read Patrick’s entry tomorrow at work – can’t wait. It might just be my crazy computer, but just curious if anyone else had a similar problem.
Question to the Japan team – have you tried any of the new Pepsi Cucumber flavor that came out in Tokyo this week (saw it in our paper today). It’s supposd to be “refreshing” for the summer! (gag).
Blessings,
Cindy’s Mom
Love to you all, and sorry to sound whiney about the blog.
So great to hear about the trip! I’ll say a prayer for you all this morning!
Love,
Carolyn
Have a blast at the “nutty professor’s” class. He is an awesome guy! I hope you enjoy his class!
(to Cindy): if y’all see the jumprope group on campus, please tell them hello and see if y’all can get them to come to a TX night this year.
Praying for y’all here. Take care.

Ah, the professor! We loved him. Here’s hoping that Terry is able to steer clear of all the chalk. That was a neat day for us last year. I’ll be praying that you guys run into the jump ropers again. It was a shame that we couldn’t spend more time with them last year.

P.s. Shindy, Molly wants to know if Kento will fit in your carry on bag.
Thank you for saying yes to the Lord by going on this trip! Thanks for the updates too. I will be praying.
Take care,
Julia
(aka for Terry: Kahatineta)
Cindy’s Mom, I can read the entries but there are spaces between the letters.
Hey Japan Team 2007! Thanks Patrick for the info. We are staying faithful in praying for your mission and know that the Lord is truly working through your testamonies. This professor sounds great. We will pray for daily encouragement for y’ all and can’t wait to read more.
1Th 5:11 “Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing. ”
Love,
Patty (Amy’s mom)
P.S. I want to see these jump ropers! LOL
Cindylou,
FYI, I installed a “language pack” for Japanese, and lo & behold, now I can read Patrick’s entry about Terry speaking at Chiba U!! Yay! Not really sure how, but something from Windows appeared on my screen about having to install it.
Much love and prayer,
Mom
